Fox call Nordik Fox Heat

The Nordik Fox Heat is a fox call that imitates the sound of a vixen in heat. During the mating season a dog fox responds strongly to it: he either calls back or sneaks in silently, so keep a close eye on your surroundings. Outside the mating season the same sound comes across as an intruder in his territory, so foxes will still come in to your call.

Two calls with one whistle

With your finger on the air hole you can make two different calls with the Fox Heat:

• Short call: blow softly three times (“trrr-trrr-trrr”), wait about 10 seconds and repeat.
• Long call: give four short, quick bursts and finish with a soft drawn-out note of about 3 seconds. Lift your finger off the hole as soon as you start that final note.

Repeat the call every 5 to 10 minutes and stay put for about 30 to 40 minutes before moving to a new spot.
