Fox call Nordik Mini Predator

The Nordik Mini Predator is a compact, versatile call for fox and other predators. A sliding O-ring on the reed lets you decide which sound you make, from a squeaking mouse to the distress cry of a rabbit or hare. One call covers the most important prey sounds.

Mouse or vole

Slide the O-ring all the way to the tip of the reed. Put your lips or teeth there and blow in short bursts for a convincing mouse squeak. This works especially well when a fox is already close and you want to bring him in over the last stretch.

Rabbit or hare in distress

For a distress call, slide the O-ring to the middle of the reed and blow at that point. The further back you blow, the rougher and deeper the sound. Alternate long and short notes for 15 to 20 seconds and repeat every 3 to 4 minutes. Opening and closing your hand in front of the opening makes the call sound even more realistic.
