Product Description
The HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PC (no reticle) TH35PCR (with reticle) thermal scope is an attachment for a rifle scope. It attaches easily to the rifle scope and it has a weight without battery of only 538 grams. The thermal imaging scope is compatible with various adapters and it has M52 x 0.75 threads. The clip-on has a 384×288 thermal sensor and the pixel pitch is only 12 µm for a razor-sharp image. With an impressively low NETD of less than 20 mK, the thermal imager transmits highly detailed thermal images. Those images are shown on the 1024×768 (0.39-inch) OLED display, with a frame rate of 50 Hz. There is a dial on top of the thermal imager that allows you to adjust the focus. The thermal sensor has a range of 1800 meters, making it possible to detect differences in heat even at long distances.
This thermal imaging scope allows you to take photos and videos. You can do that manually by using the buttons on top of the HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PC (no reticle) TH35PCR (with reticle) thermal imager or you can leave that to the recoil-activated recording. This feature causes a short video with audio to be recorded the moment the thermal imaging scope registers recoil. This creates a short video every time the trigger is pulled. The thermal imager has a 16 GB eMMC (embedded multimedia card) and the photos and videos you take will also be transmitted to your phone, provided you have the HikMicro Sight app.
That HikMicro Sight app is free to download and gets you connected to your HikMicro device. After configuration, it is possible to adjust the settings of the thermal imaging viewer through the app and, of course, you can view the photos and videos in it.
The HikMicro Thunder 2.0 Clip-On TH35PC (no reticle) TH35PCR (with reticle) thermal imager features a Li-ion battery. On a full charge, the thermal imager can stay on for as much as 6.5 hours continuously. When the battery runs out, you can easily recharge it or swap it with the other battery. To get even longer with a battery charge, use the standby mode. It is easy to put the thermal imaging viewer in standby mode or just activate it again, using the buttons on top. There are five buttons in total, with the following functionality:
